What is being announced to customers, partners and the market?

Cayuse and iMedRIS will announce to customers and partners on Monday, November 15 and to the market on Tuesday, November 16 that Cayuse intends to acquire iMedRIS and will combine to create the most complete and integrated research administration solutions platform in the market.

The acquisition of iMedRIS and the combined companies offers organizations the most robust and connected research administration cloud platform in the market, and further enables Cayuse to be well positioned to support the unique needs of hospital and health systems and government agencies while positioning the organization as the leader in the Risk Management category.

Supporting close to 100 research organizations, iMedRIS has the capabilities and understanding to meet the needs of large organizations in the hospital and health systems market as well government agencies. With expertise serving 11 R1 institutions, iMedRIS brings deep domain expertise in Risk Management solutions, cross-institutional collaboration and Clinical Trials Management solutions, among others.

Who is iMedRIS?

iMedRIS Data Corporation was launched in March 2001 with the introduction of Study Assistant, their first iRIS module. They have expanded to support over 21 modules and are currently located in Redlands, California. iMedRIS is particularly strong in the Risk Management category with customers in all the same market segments that Cayuse serves, with additional expertise and adoption in hospital and health systems as well as government agencies.

Founded on the principles of management efficiency and customer satisfaction, iMedRIS offers state-of-the-art software solutions designed to optimize research administration. As a leader in integrated research information software, their goal is to offer solutions that empower research administrators.

iMedRIS products will offer additional capabilities to the Cayuse platform, allowing the combined companies to service the broadest set of needs of the research lifecycle in the market.

What happens to my current products? 

There will be no impact to the current products and Cayuse remains 100% committed to continued support and innovation on the Cayuse platform and all our modern apps. The Cayuse platform has a multi-year roadmap which we will continue to deliver against, and customers will be able to leverage iMedRIS innovations integrated into the Cayuse platform. Bringing together the strengths of Cayuse with the iMedRIS solutions will offer research administrators and leaders an unrivaled depth of capabilities and unparalleled industry expertise.
