So, what is Research Administrator Day? National Day Calendar defines it as “a day to recognize the contributions made by administrators every day.” At Cayuse, Research Administrator Day means so much more. We view this as not only a day to recognize the contributions made by research administrators, but also a day to truly recognize the people who dedicate their time, energy, and effort to make those contributions.
Research administrators perform an often thankless job every day, serving faculty and researchers, protecting those researchers as well as their organizations as they selflessly perform their duties.
Research administrators are what make the research world go round, and without them, we wouldn’t benefit from the societal and scientific advancements that make the world a better place.
We’re happy to celebrate Research Administrator Day to help recognize these contributions.
We know that research administrators are awesome people, to say the least. We’ve had the pleasure of spending time with research administrators at community events across the country for years. We’re also fortunate to work with former research administrators who are now part of the Cayuse family. Through these relationships with so many dedicated professionals, we can say that a day named in their honor is but a mere token of the respect and admiration they deserve.
If you know a research administrator, take a moment to thank them on Research Administrator Day. If you are a research administrator, thank you so much for all that you do.
To celebrate and connect research administrators, we’ve just launched a new online community where anyone who works in research can join and network, share ideas, find a mentor/mentee, and more. We’d love to hear about how you became a research administrator!
Join the community here and then please share your experience in this discussion. We can’t wait to hear your story!
