Built by researchers, for researchers
Our journey began with founder Chris Harker, a researcher, faculty member, and lab director at Oregon Health & Science University. Frustrated with the lack of connectivity between research administration processes and proposal submissions, he sought a solution that would improve the research lifecycle for researchers and administrators alike.
This spirit of improving the research experience for everyone lives on today through the dedication of all Cayuse employees. Our staff includes many former researchers and research administrators because we believe that no one understands the research lifecycle better than those with industry experience.

The Cayuse implementation process mitigates risks through proven project management principles, including early analysis to ensure we understand your needs and expectations, building schedules that balance client timeline constraints and critical project milestones, and budget monitoring to make sure the delivered solution is valuable and effective.

Dedicated Support
Cayuse assigns a Project Manager and an application specialist (Professional Services Consultant) as you implement your Cayuse solutions.
Your dedicated team will help navigate your organization through the implementation process via weekly project status updates and virtual checkups, and provide informed assistance through important decisions when multiple solution branches apply.

Training the Trainers
We offer several virtual training methods that aim not only to directly prepare customers for their new Cayuse solutions, but also to train future users for more widespread adoption.
At the close of the product’s training stage, your team will be ready to train your internal end-users whether the solution is rolled out to specific departments or the entire organization.
