The externally funded programs at Central State University have increased by 250% within the past four years. This growth has led to tremendous opportunities for the research team and marked some clear inefficiencies that needed to be addressed.

Prior to Cayuse, the team managed research documentation and activities via multiple systems including paper and off-the-shelf processes. As the Central State’s externally funded activities grew, the efficacy of these processes began to degrade. The team found it increasingly difficult to keep track of everything. Then, with the push to a remote working environment caused by the pandemic, the need for a cloud-based solution became even more apparent.
