Starr brings both financial leadership and research industry experience as Cayuse’s growth continues to accelerate
PORTLAND, OR – December 8, 2020 – Cayuse, the market-leading research administration cloud platform, is pleased to welcome research technology veteran John Starr as Chief Financial Officer. Starr’s hiring comes at the end of another record year of growth for Cayuse that also included the launch of the industry’s first cloud-native, end-to-end research suite. Bringing considerable growth-oriented leadership expertise, he will set Cayuse’s financial direction as it accelerates its expansion plans and executes against its vision of empowering globally connected research.

Starr brings decades of experience in all facets of financial management at companies ranging from large publicly traded enterprises to private equity and venture-backed investments. Prior to Cayuse, he was CFO of Forte Research Systems, a market leader in clinical trial management software, and Emmi Solutions, a leading patient engagement technology platform. He also previously held leadership positions at Orius Corp and AT&T. He began his finance career at Deloitte, in its audit and advisory services practice.
