Portland, OR, January 11, 2022 – Cayuse, a global provider of the market-leading research administration cloud platform, and Illinois State University, a well-known and respected public university in Normal, Illinois, have partnered to expand support of graduate school students and faculty. Illinois State has leveraged Cayuse solutions since 2014 to enable a wide-range of research-based activities, and most recently added Graduate Education Manager.
With nearly 3,000 graduate school students across more than 100 graduate school programs, the team at Illinois State recognized a significant opportunity to deliver even greater support for their students, program, and overall institution. Specifically, the team sought out a solution that could help them better track student time-to-degree completion, as well as improve recruitment and retention rates.

With the addition of Cayuse’s Graduate Education Manager, the team at Illinois State University now has a centralized hub for graduate student and program information that is easily accessible by all stakeholders. Students and faculty have greater visibility into and engagement with key milestones, which will improve communication and create a healthier culture and environment overall.
During their implementation, the team will transition many of their paper-based forms for events, training, advisory meetings, and more into digital counterparts that enhance the experience and completion rates of these activities.
