LONDON, 14 September 2022 Cayuse, global provider of a market-leading research administration platform, has partnered with Middlesex University London to create an innovative and inclusive digital research landscape that supports the University’s action-based initiatives.

A thriving university with global reach, Middlesex has over 35,000 students studying in London, Dubai, and Mauritius and with partner organisations worldwide.

Middlesex University’s 10-year Strategy sets out its ambition to turn knowledge into action and generate impact in global challenges through research across three themes: sustainable development, health and wellbeing, and enterprise and creativity.

A key pillar of the University’s forward-looking strategy is improving its digital infrastructure to adapt to rapidly changing global circumstances while supporting an increasingly ambitious research culture.

“Finding a digital solution that would facilitate integration throughout the research lifecycle, increase the visibility of our research initiatives, and do it all with an intuitive user interface was of the utmost importance to us,” said Professor Carole-Anne Upton, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Knowledge Exchange & Engagement at Middlesex University. “We launched a tender last autumn to find a core research information platform, postgraduate research solution, and ethics management tool. Cayuse best met our requirements and presented a solution we could tailor to our needs.”

To fulfill the goal of an integrated CRIS system, the team at Middlesex University has invested in Cayuse Sponsored Projects, Competitions (by InfoReady), Fund Manager, Ethics Monitor, Graduate Education Manager, Repository, and Inventions.

Matt McLellan, CEO at Cayuse added, “We are honoured to support Middlesex University’s comprehensive approach to streamlining the full research lifecycle through connected technology. We are excited to collaborate with them on their growing cutting-edge research programs and through our mission and commitment to helping Middlesex University advance their impact on science, discovery, and society.”
