Portland, OR, December 13, 2021 Cayuse, provider of the market-leading research administration cloud platform, is excited to share that Sam Houston State University has recently upgraded its Cayuse Research Suite to include the Cayuse Platform and five additional solutions, revolutionizing its ways of working across the entire research lifecycle.

The team at Sam Houston has been successfully using Cayuse Proposals S2S and Human Ethics solutions since 2019, integrating them with a variety of home grown tools, such as spreadsheets, email communications, and shared documents.

“We attended the Connect by Cayuse conference with the intention of assessing how additional Cayuse solutions would fit into our existing research administration ecosystem,” said Chad Hargrave Ph.D.  Associate Provost, Office of Research & Sponsored Programs, Sam Houston State University. “After consulting with the Cayuse team, it soon became clear that Sponsored Projects, Fund Manager, Project Effort, Hazard Safety, and Outside Interests solutions would allow us to streamline our processes and completely revolutionize the way we work.”

Similar to many Cayuse customers, Sam Houston was working within the constraints of its existing systems. With disconnected pre-and post-award processes and issues such as duplicate data entry, human error, miscommunication, and time consuming manual procedures, the team realized the need for a wider range of tools and one central system that could be integrated with their existing software.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Sam Houston State University and are committed to helping them achieve their goals for years to come,” said Cayuse CEO, Matt McLellan.
