PORTLAND, Ore. (October 1, 2019)Cayuse, a leader in research administration software for universities, hospitals, and research organizations, is pleased to announce today that it has acquired ERA Software Systems, a research software and service provider.

Like Cayuse, ERA Software Systems’ founder was actively involved in higher education research administration and received a Small Business Innovation Research grant to create system-to-system proposal submission software nearly two decades ago. Its flagship product, SmartGrant, is recognized as a comprehensive, user-friendly lifecycle application by research institutions of all sizes.
